About Jonathan Fournier
Jonathan Fournier is a disabled Montreal-based screenwriter with a number of produced scripts, most notably the award-nominated comedy web series UNICORN INCLUDED, which he also stars in. Jonathan recently completed a stint as a Story Contributor on an upcoming satirical news show (THE SQUEAKY WHEEL: CANADA) and is currently at work on a varied slate of TV and film projects, including a half-hour sitcom adaptation of UNICORN INCLUDED.
Jonathan has been active in Montreal’s English language theatre community since 2010, writing and producing independent shows at various local festivals (St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival, ShortStanding Festival). An academic at heart, Jonathan has earned a Story Analysis certification from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and holds a degree in communication studies from Concordia University. Above all else, Jonathan is a great team player and as funny as he is short.

Unicorn Included (short-form web series)
Unicorn Included is a short-form comedy web series, about a guy named Jonathan and a unicorn named... Unicorn living together. Hijinks ensue in 3-6 minute shorts. The series was featured at the 2020 Seoul Webfest, where it was nominated for Best Creator and Best Sketch Comedy.
Unicorn Included (half-hour pilot)
A full sitcom pilot adaptation of the web series, now telling a much more comprehensive story. In this half-hour comedy series, a disabled man deals with the realities of being a new homeowner, with the help of his unwanted roommate: a lazy, sarcastic unicorn who came with the condo and won’t leave. "The Odd Couple" meets "Bojack Horseman"!
Wrapped Up (feature holiday rom-com)
When a reclusive family caregiver and a surly nurse turned Christmas gift wrapper meet at the local mall, can they work through their social anxieties and take the chance on love they both need? An awkward comedy about figuring out what you want in life and learning to put your trust in other people.
